ПО тому, что говорит СNN выходит, что жерт в общем не так много по сравнению с предыдущими атаками. Из 160 - 95 с "легкими повреждениями", двое убиты... BBC, конечно, криком кричит, и выглядит это все устрашающе

С другой стороны, Англия это вам не испанцы, которые только индейцев резать горазды. Тут многовековая история колонизации примерно в тех регионах, бремя белого человека и все такое.

Буш сейчас с Блэром разговаривают. ПОдозреваю, что в терминах "кого будем бомбить в ответ". В НЬю-Йорке пересматривают план магистральных эвакуаций.

Все, я ушел.

First, feeding and clothing them may well have prevented many acts of terrorism: when people have something to lose, when they live what they perceive to be a good life, they are less likely to take desperate measures like blowing themselves up in a crowded bus.
Second, there are plenty of them that are still hungry, lack shelter and clothes, and whose desperate situation radicalizes them against the perceived enemy of the heretic West, resulting in their willingness to carry out terror attacks.
Third, there are still a number of people who are radical despite having good living conditions. They care more about politics, ideology and religion than about materialist comforts, and are willing to embrace terrorism: these people remind me of the Russian intelligentsia of the late 19th and early 20th century, who lived well materially but were not happy with their government and social system, and participated in political terrorism. Some of the Muslims in Europe belong to this group of radical Wahhabist bourgeoisie.
Conclusion: feeding and clothing poor Muslims has helped and will help deradicalize many and should certainly continue as a policy objective. Why do you think that the explosions occurred just after the meeting of the G-8 summit, whose major goal was to get funds for Africa, where so many Muslims live and so many terrorist cells have their recruiting and training ground? More aid for Africa will result in less terrorism. But, and this is an important but, it will certainly not eradicate all terrorism, because there will still remain that group of radical Wahhabist bourgeoisie. This group should be fought using all the modern anti-terrorist tools available, together with a strong pro-Western propaganda initiative aimed at the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Концепция войны с террором, озвученная в знаменитой речи Буша перед выпускниками военной академии, не предусматривает различия между террористами и теми государствами, которые укрывают террористов. Иран укрывает и спонсирует террористов, следовательно удар по Ирану оправдан.
