I have a feeling that Jesus could have found another way to make himself known - in terms of, Judas act was necessary on some higher level of existence but totally freewill for him, right? And I am not at all sure that this cross thing was at all necessary - Jesus came to share his views, as the main thing; he knew that would happen - but that's because he saw the spoiler in advance:) Judas is a bastard all right, no one instructed him to go betray, at least according to the canones...

Я не настолько хорошо разбираюсь в христианской теологии, чтобы утверждать, что распятие было необходимым условием спасения человечества. Да, в каноне ничего не сказано о том, что Иуду подстрекали, но ничего не сказано и о его мотивах или о том, почему Иисус отнесся к этому именно так. Текст интерпретировать можно по-разному.
